| In 1997 I decided to turn a passion for gardening into a career. I applied to Olds College and earned a diploma in Horticulture with a major in Landscape Design.
Being an entrepreneur at heart, I saw a perfect fit with softscape design and garden maintenance. I strongly believe a long term commitment is required from both the home owner and the designer.
Over the years I have found being a part of the gardens for at least a year, by doing maintenance, allows me to create the best designs to fit client's needs, site conditions and natures elements. With pride I am also able to watch over the completed design throughout the entire season.

CONSULTATIONS:
Garden Essentials provides on-site design ideas with quick sketches incorporating planting suggestions and horticultural information. These consultations are by the hour and usually require one to two hours.
SOFTSCAPE DESIGN:
By specializing in maintenance our extensive knowledge of plant material provides designs based on maintenance requirements, availabilty and plant durablity in the Calgary climate.
MAINTENANCE:
Specializing in maintaining flower gardens and plant material including spring clean-up, weekly summer maintenance and fall clean-up to maintain optimum plant health.
